S-Ride day!
Hi there! Once again, welcome to my page. So, here is another
day being drafted and published for issued in reader’s interest 😛
Well, from the topic you must have anticipated that I will be
going to give a well and nice advertisement about this app sRide? No no! you
are wrong. No advertisement. Why should I do that? Well, no one has approached
too. Anyways, let’s not talk about these and focus on the good part.
So, for this week following the hybrid fashion of office going
days as per the new norm set in almost all IT firms as “Return to Office”, I
thought to drive as usual, but for some reasons I thought to opt for sRide. I
think you know how it works. A small description if you don’t know. Basically,
one person rides from his location to his office and share his trip details, time,
and all. And people like us i.e., the rider checks on the list of people who
are sharing their ride from one destination to office or from office to one
destination and if that suits to your convenience, you can join the ride and must
pay way minimum than your solo uber or ola ride. Cost saving huh! And
beneficial for both sides too looking at the hiked-up rates of petrol. Oh yes,
you need to verify your company while registering for this application. So, I
booked my ride and I checked with the fellow person, and he mentioned a common
spot to join him on the way. I agreed. It was a 5 mins walk there, no
harm.
I left after he called that he has started his ride and I
reached to that desired pickup point. Oh! the journey started. After meeting
him, we found that not only we work for same company but also, we work on the
same floor, but never met before. The world is a small place you see! We were
having normal discussions on work and other hereabouts and then he mentioned
that there is one more fellow who will be joining the same ride, but he will
get down before our destination. Okay! Hmm, we stopped at the discussed pickup
location for another guy and guess what! It was him! You remember who? That
guy, the sweet chase on traffic signal? Oh! seriously man, read the previous
episode. Yes, I am talking about that guy.
We don’t know each other, yet on a same day, we both took sRide
instead of self-driving to office, though our destinations were different, but
still part of same journey and there we were!
We met! AGAIN!
