Sreca Rooftop Lounge :
As you all know that Pune these days is vibing with new restaurants, clubs, local food junctions etc., etc. So, here we discovered a new place to have some good and nice experience. The place is having a good energetic ambience for different type of folks. If you want to go outside for a open air type experience, the outdoor open roof with live music is a good place to dine with your folks. If you are a like cozy person, you can sit inside. If you have a big gang, oh yes! they do have private party space as well. In short you will not be disappointed for selecting this place for refreshment to music, food and ambience with your loved ones.
Here sharing a bit of what I experienced with my loved ones. So, we visited this place recently. Though we wanted to go for the open air section, but it was hot in Pune, so taking the choice of being in A.C was bit better for us. But there is nothing like if you select a spot you have to stick with that, cause in the middle we switched to open arena as there was nice live music by singer: Aniket. (IG – @aniket.music. He was really holding the entire vicinity. You know the call that we say in hindi, “mahaul banana kehte hai.” 🙂
The staff was really good and yes, they know what true hospitality means. Even we interacted with Chef Saurabh Yadav. He suggested for main course suitable for our kid’s palate as she can’t have that spicy food. But must say though it was less spicy but the food was good to enjoy as well. At the end he even offered complementary dessert. Thanks to him and his team, that was indeed a sweet gesture.
So, lets come to the dishes that we had. (in order from left to right) ->
- Cream of Broccoli Soup – This is indeed the best I had there. The soup was having broccoli as the king taste with very minimal amount of spices, making it a good start for the menu. – must try
- Chicken Japanese Avocado Salad – Frankly speaking, I have always avoided avocado after I tasted once an unripe one which was having bitter taste, but this one as the chef suggested, trust me, with the chicken along with minimal salad tossed with the right amount of dressing, even the avocados were giving a good match to the taste buds 🙂 – must try
- Thai Chili Chicken – This one is more of less like the regular ones but yet it was flavorful too.
- Chicken Strognoff – The main dish was not by looks was looking delicious but taste wise too. It was recommended by Chef Saurabh, considering our kid. It was having a bit of Indian spiced flavor as well.
The menu offers a wide range of cocktail and mocktails too. But that day we didn’t prefer for any. Whereas, you can try and let us know then :D. This place is for people who prefers food varying from Indo, Mexican, Continental and that also for veg, non veg palate.
